NEW FRANKLIN — Thirty-nine students at Nolley Elementary School submitted entries for the annual PTA Reflections Art show recently. Children in preschool through 12th grades nationally are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas for the program: literature, visual arts, photography, dance choreography, film/video and musical composition. Nolley art teacher William York worked with PTA member Michelle Bagwell to submit student artwork for the contest. Six of the Nolley students participating in the program this year are shown at right, from left, with York: fourth-graders Carli Gardner, Maria Hughes and Austin Sanford, and first-graders Grant Gainer, Ellie Krock and Kaitlyn Nist. Winners will be recognized at a later date. Five Filters featured article: Chilcot Inquiry. Available tools: PDF Newspaper, Full Text RSS, Term Extraction. |
