"We set a lofty goal for our first 13 months of $1 million," said Tom Pike, assistant superintendent for executive services. The size of the community, its businesses and their previous support make the goal realistic, he said. The campaign was launched in time to attract donors interested in year-end tax write-offs. All funds will benefit students in Corona-Norco Unified School District. Academic intervention, arts and music, after-school enrichment and technology upgrades are the four areas of focus.
