| Reflections entries due soon - Issaquah Press Posted: 13 Oct 2009 05:33 PM PDT October 13, 2009 By Staff Students in the Issaquah School District can participate in the Parents, Teachers and Students Association Reflections competition.Reflections was started in 1969 to provide an opportunity for students to use the arts to express themselves. Students can enter artwork in six categories: visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, film/video and dance choreography. This year's theme is "Beauty is…" Entries are due throughout the month of October and students should check individual deadlines at their schools. Last year, the district's PTSA council received more than 1,277 entries from students in 21 schools across all grade levels. Of the 244 students, 52 moved onto the state competition and three moved on to the national competition. Go to www.PTAreflections.org. CommentsGot something to say?
